Description

A handmade set of four table napkins with vintage woodblock prints. Enjoy understated elegance with the vivid raspberry and eggshell prints against a soft fawn background and hand painted raspberry piping. Everything sold on Kokuin is handmade by the owner, Soumya James, including the sewing, printing, and painting.

Materials

• Fabric: The table napkins are made with 100% cotton.
• Print: The print is made with non-toxic textile paint that is permanent and colorfast.

Care instructions

• Machine wash in cold water using the delicates setting. Consider hand washing, when possible, to be gentle on the print.
• Wash with like colors.
• Medium iron on reverse. For best results, iron when slightly damp.

Machine washing

The designs in this product use textile paint. The paint itself is colorfast and won’t bleed. So, you can wash it in a machine. But, how will the paint fare because of friction in a machine wash?

Although the paint is permanent according to the manufacturer, the friction from repeated washes in a machine may eventually cause some areas to rub off. So, hand washing lightly used napkins will prolong the life of the print. I offer other products that are based on other (more expensive) means to make prints than paint, which perform better with machine washing.
